What is boudoir photography?
A beautiful, intimate, photograph of a woman that portrays her softer sensual side. The perfect gift to give to yourself or to a boyfriend, husband or lover.
A boudoir photograph could be nude, wearing lingerie, or with props such as feather fans, boas, gloves, pearls, heels. This is not a centerfold shot - but an artistic view - where the photographer sees the true beauty of a regular woman.
What will your experience be like?
You will come to our intimate East side studio and be greeted by your boudoir shoot coordinator. You will take a look at our "look book" to see what kind of image you would like to project. Choices include, lying on a fur rug, using ostrich feather fans or boas - to give a suggestion of skin but keep as much or as little as you like covered, long gloves with pearls - we are open to your suggestion. We suggest you bring favorite lingerie, swimwear, stockings or heels from home.
Spend a little time getting primped for your shoot by our expert make-up artist, sip a glass of champagne, listen to music and get in the mood.
When it is time for your moment in the spotlight our team will do everything to make you comfortable. Our photographers and shoot coordinators are pros at helping ease you into poses that will show you off to your best advantage. This experience is supposed to make YOU feel great about yourself. We have male and female photographers, our shoot coordinators and make-up artists are women - and the whole shoot will have a supportive, girly feel. Our aim is for you to feel comfortable and great.
As you get changed our team will prepare the shots for you to choose from. You will choose the shot you like the best and we will retouch this shot, to your specifications if needed. You will leave with 2 8x10 copies of your shot. If you like additional pictures they will be available for you to purchase for an additional fee.
